What you need
- A Google account with access to your website in Search Console.
- A HyperGSC account.
- A ChatGPT account and workspace that allow custom MCP servers.
1. Connect your website in HyperGSC
- Sign in to HyperGSC and open Connections.
- Connect the Google account that has access to your website in Search Console.
- Choose the website you want to share and save your selection.
Search Console calls each website a property. Signing in to HyperGSC with Google is separate from connecting Search Console, so complete this step even if you already signed in with Google.
2. Add HyperGSC to ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it HyperGSC, add a short description, and enter the server URL below under Connection.
- Use OAuth authentication and finish signing in to HyperGSC.
- Review the connection warning and choose Create as a plugin.
- Install the plugin. In a new chat, type @ and select HyperGSC.

Send this in ChatGPT:
Use HyperGSC to list my connected Search Console websites.You should see HyperGSC make a tool call and return the website you saved. If more than one appears, tell the assistant which one to use.
Once that works, try your first report:
Use HyperGSC for [my website]. Show my top 5 pages by clicks over the latest complete 7 days, and include the dates.Replace [my website] with the property returned by the connection check. Recent Search Console data can be delayed.
If something does not work
- No custom MCP option? Check your account and workspace settings. Your administrator may need to allow it.
- Your website is missing? Check the Google account and saved website selection in HyperGSC Connections.
- Sign-in failed? Reconnect HyperGSC in ChatGPT and complete the browser sign-in.
- A report is unavailable? Ask which reports your HyperGSC plan supports.
