Quick answer

  • Connect your Google account in HyperGSC, choose your Search Console website, and save it.
  • In HyperGSC AI tools, choose Install HyperGSC in Cursor and finish browser sign-in.
  • Ask Cursor to list your connected Search Console websites. If yours appears, you are connected.

What you need

  • A Google account with access to your website in Search Console.
  • A HyperGSC account.
  • Cursor installed with access to Agent mode and MCP tools.

1. Connect your website in HyperGSC

  1. Sign in to HyperGSC and open Connections.
  2. Connect the Google account that has access to your website in Search Console.
  3. Choose the website you want to share and save your selection.

Search Console calls each website a property. Signing in to HyperGSC with Google is separate from connecting Search Console, so complete this step even if you already signed in with Google.

2. Add HyperGSC to Cursor

  1. In HyperGSC, open AI tools and choose Install HyperGSC in Cursor.
  2. Allow the link to open Cursor and confirm the server installation.
  3. Open Customize in Cursor, find HyperGSC, and finish browser sign-in.
  4. Open a new Agent chat to test the connection.

3. Check the connection

Send this in Cursor:

Connection check prompt
Use HyperGSC to list my connected Search Console websites.

You should see HyperGSC make a tool call and return the website you saved. If more than one appears, tell the assistant which one to use.

Once that works, try your first report:

First report prompt
Use HyperGSC for [my website]. Show my top 5 pages by clicks over the latest complete 7 days, and include the dates.

Replace [my website] with the property returned by the connection check. Recent Search Console data can be delayed.

Prefer to add Cursor manually?

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for all your projects, or .cursor/mcp.json for one project. If the file already has servers, add hypergsc alongside them.

Cursor MCP configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "hypergsc": {
      "url": "https://hypergsc.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Save the file, then open Customize in Cursor and sign in to HyperGSC.

If something does not work

  • No HyperGSC tools? Check that the server is enabled in Customize and use an Agent chat.
  • Your website is missing? Check the Google account and saved website selection in HyperGSC Connections.
  • Sign-in failed? Reconnect HyperGSC in Cursor and complete the browser sign-in.
  • A report is unavailable? Ask which reports your HyperGSC plan supports.
