How to connect Google Search Console to Claude

Connect Google Search Console to Claude with HyperGSC in three steps. Follow the setup instructions and copy a short prompt to check it works.

Quick answer

  • Add https://hypergsc.com/mcp as a custom connector in Claude and sign in.
  • Ask Claude to list your connected Search Console websites. If yours appears, you are connected.

What you need

  • A Google account with access to your website in Search Console.
  • A HyperGSC account.
  • A Claude account that supports custom connectors. Your workspace administrator may need to enable them.

1. Connect your website in HyperGSC

  1. Sign in to HyperGSC and open Connections.
  2. Connect the Google account that has access to your website in Search Console.
  3. Choose the website you want to share and save your selection.

Search Console calls each website a property. Signing in to HyperGSC with Google is separate from connecting Search Console, so complete this step even if you already signed in with Google.

2. Add HyperGSC to Claude

  1. Open Claude on the web or desktop, then go to Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it HyperGSC and paste the server URL below.
  3. Choose browser sign-in. If Claude asks for an OAuth client method, choose Register automatically.
  4. Finish signing in to HyperGSC and approve access.
  5. In a new chat, open + → Connectors and enable HyperGSC.

3. Check the connection

Send this in Claude:

Use HyperGSC to list my connected Search Console websites.

You should see HyperGSC make a tool call and return the website you saved. If more than one appears, tell the assistant which one to use.

Once that works, try your first report:

Use HyperGSC for [my website]. Show my top 5 pages by clicks over the latest complete 7 days, and include the dates.

Replace [my website] with the property returned by the connection check. Recent Search Console data can be delayed.

Using Claude Code?

Use this command instead of the connector steps above:

Add HyperGSC to Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user hypergsc https://hypergsc.com/mcp

Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose HyperGSC, and finish browser sign-in. Then try the connection check prompt above.

If something does not work

  • No connector option? Check your Claude account or ask your workspace administrator to add the connector.
  • Your website is missing? Check the Google account and saved website selection in HyperGSC Connections.
  • Sign-in failed? Reconnect HyperGSC in Claude and complete the browser sign-in.
  • A report is unavailable? Ask which reports your HyperGSC plan supports.
